Crysis 2

Hello and welcome to the review of Crysis 2, where New York City is under attack by a familiar alien force and a horrifying disease. Today we ship out to New York City to help save the world from the Ceph.

 

Prophet

Today we are a marine named Alcatraz and we are on a submarine heading into New York City. Our missions is to aid a specialist by the name of Prophet and a civilian Dr. Gould. It seems odd to send in a armed squad of marines via submarine insertion for a strictly humanitarian crisis and the team mentions this before we get a short briefing. After we are briefed we start heading out to get ready to leave the sub and start our mission.

Crysis

This week I tackle a game renown for graphics. But, is it just graphics or is there more in Crysis? Well lets dive right on in!

We start off by getting a cut scene setting up the situation on this pacific island and hints at there is more going on than anyone knows. As such we then cut to a few days later and a transport plane flying towards the fictional Lingshan islands. Here the North Korean's have evacuated all the civilians from the island after massive seismic activity. Now the whole place is under lock down and the US Government is worried about what is going on and sends in a team to find out what is going on.
